We understand that selecting a pet care provider can be overwhelming, because figuring out who you can trust with your pets is nothing to be taken lightly. So it means the world to us that you’ve chosen or are considering us for such an honor. At House of Pet we value, respect, care for, and cherish our members. Human and animal alike, once you're in, you're a part of the family! Thats why we strive to offer more than just a traditional pet care service. It’s ourgoal to not only to provide an easy solution to your busy schedule but to give you and your pets a quality experience and warmth seldom found elsewhere.

Due to high demand, the quality nature of our efforts, humanitarian work, and the personalized care & service structure we provide to all our members; our application process tends to be a selective one. Ensuring that not only are we a good fit for each other, but that we have all the information necessary to be able to meet the high standards HOP sets for itself, while also providing your pets with the high caliber of care that they deserve.

  • Call or Submit an application!

    This is the best way to get started with us, as it allows us to connect, make sure we have room in our schedule, and availability for your specific needs.

  • Step 1: Apply/Register

    Fill out and submit the New Member Registration Form which corresponds to the type of pet you have.

    All new members must submit their registration forms. Thoroughly completing your client and pet paperwork helps us provide quality, comprehensive care for your pets.

    If you have more than one pet who will be joining the House of Pet family

    • Fill out and submit the Additional Pet Form.

    HOP may reach out to you if we have anymore questions about your application.

    Step 2: Meet & Greet

    Once your application has been approved, we will reach out to you to schedule a Meet & Greet! During the meet and greet we will meet your pet(s), go over your paperwork, and any other questions you may have prior to your pet's first visit with us!

    Step 3: Welcome Home!

    After the Meet & Greet, you will receive an email informing you that your membership has been approved!

    Step 3: Activate Account

    An account will have been created for you on your behalf. You will receive an email which will include your log-in instructions. From there you can change your password, edit yours and your pet(s) details, book services, view invoices, and much much more!

    Step 4: Begin Booking!

  • Fill out a New Remember Registration Form for Dog Owners or Cat Owners, and then fill out the Additional Dog, Cat, or Animal form to include the other members of your family!

    OR

    If you have different species of pets, you can choose to only fill out an application for the animals you’ll be needing service for.

    Please note: If you later decide you would like to include additional animals for services you will need fill out a Additional (Dog/Cat/Other Animal) form.

  • Application Processing Times

    Applications will be reviewed and processed in the order they are received.

    We are typically able to review applications within 48 hours.

    Please Note: Applications are only reviewed and processed during Office Hours. If you submitted an application outside of our Office Hours please note that processing time will begin the next business day.

    If you would like to expedite the process you may give us a call anytime during our Office Hours, and we will do our best to accommodate your expedite request if we can.

  • Depending on the type of services you will be requesting, the Meet & Greet will either take place at your home or at one of our House of Pet locations.

    Meet & Greet times may vary, but often last about…

    For Dogs: 45 minutes to an 1 hour

    For Cats: 30 to 45 minutes

    For all other animals: 30 to 45 minutes

    What happens at a Meet & Greet?

    • We will asses your pet(s) behaviors, habits, training level, mood & temperament.

    • We discuss your pet(s) needs, their play style, and go over what their schedule and routine looks like and how best House of Pet can accommodate for that.

    • We will discuss any issues they may have and how to handle them.

    • If you haven’t done so already when filling out the New Member & Pet Application, you will need to provide us with a copy of your pets vaccination records at the time of the Meet & Greet.

    • For dog owners, we will all go on a short walk to asses how well leash/walk trained your dog(s) are.

    • For Traveling Services (i.e. House Sitting and Care Visits) you will show us where you store your pet’s food, dishes, treats, leashes & harnesses, & toys. Where they sleep, eat, and relieve themselves.
